Villa Bokeh is a luxury hacienda in the heart of a 6-acre garden situated in the lush outskirts of Antigua Guatemala. The expansive villa sits on six acres of gardens, the largest of any hotel in Antigua. The manicured gardens are available for guests to leisurely explore and feature several tranquil fountains. Designed by Katy Jay in collaboration with Paliare Studio, guests will experience an alluring blend of sophisticated architecture, Guatemalan Colonial Design, and modern details.

Our hotel restaurant Bokéh 3.1 is a contemporary reinvention of a castle conservatory. Our menu captures a unique gourmet fusion of traditional Guatemalan comfort food and nouvelle cuisine, and is open for lunch and dinner daily, with a brunch special on weekends.

Once the capital of the Kingdom, Antigua was a city that was destroyed and rebuilt twice after two earthquakes and forced out as the urban center of the country by royal decree, eventually leaving behind an extraordinarily well-preserved Spanish colonial city that was later one of the first cities to be named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Antigua is about an hour’s drive from Guatemala City or 10 minutes via helicopter. The city boasts a myriad of picturesque sights thanks to its colonial history that left behind numerous ruins and places full of culture, offering stories around every corner and activities tied to Guatemalan folklore.

Villa Bokéh history is based in two big pillars: Love for Art and a romantic love story. Its original owners, a couple of art fans build this house for their family. But their love was so big they even help raise and homeschool over 10 orphan girls at their own home. Its magnificent to believe that this hotel once was the house of 10 little girls that found a loving home and used to call this place their own. Years passed and after the Wife passed away was renewed and re oriented to be one of the most romantic and magical hotels in Antigua Guatemala
